This is the second in my neuron series. This one is called Running Through the Neuron Forest. I used to think there was no need to explain art and there probably isn’t. Nonetheless this series has grown out of my continuing and worsening neurological difficulties, which began in 2009 (when I fell and broke my knee). At that time I began experiencing double-vision and sudden weakness in my legs. Now, I have neuropathy in my feet and severe weakness in both legs, not sudden, but very severe at times. Sometimes I cannot stand or walk at all. I have not run for years. I mean run like run for a bus. I have made more art during the last several years than in the last decade. I got married three years ago. Things are not black and white.

Its a beautiful image Nancy, and the explanation does add to the impact. It must be a frustrating illness to deal with!
Thank you, Anna
