Two senior Arts Management students, Taryn Oshan and George Kiladze, at Purchase College have organized an alumni art exhibit for their senior project. My piece, “Calm Again” (see image) will be part of the exhibit. The exhibit will be held at Traffic Bar in NYC on April 19, 2012 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

There was no arts management department when I went to Purchase (100 years ago). Would things be different if I had been art managed? What exactly is art management anyway? I think I need some management in my life.
