I decided to make my cousin Terri a scratchboard drawing of her cat Miikka and surprise her with the drawing during her visit to NY earlier this week. I downloaded a photo of her cat from her Facebook page to use as a reference for the drawing. I worked many hours to get it done in time for her visit. Done. Then I went back to her Facebook page and happen to read her comment about the photo I had used. I realized that I had drawn her friend’s cat, not my cousin’s cat. Oh my. I then worked faster than usual to try and get the real Terry’s cat finished before her arrival. Somehow I was able to do it. Here are the two cats.
Will the real Terri’s cat please stand up.
