Laurie and Mia, scratchboard, 5″H x 7″W
Laurie and I went to college together. I was especially drawn to a photo that she posted of herself and her dog, Mia, on her Facebook page. This drawing was done using that photograph as a reference. This is my first scratchboard piece that includes a person it in, albeit not an entire person. I think this piece is all about the eyes.
