Dandelions conjure up my early childhood when we moved from Brooklyn to Long Island. We had many dandelions, which were considered weeds, in our backyard. When my grandfather came to visit from Brooklyn he admired the dandelions. I always thought they were beautiful too and hated that they were called weeds. I kind of identified with them.

  1. Beautiful, now we have fireworks in the sky. Dandelions are the best, I adored them as a child, I am sure they were created for fairies. Karen

  2. This is lovely, such delicate textures. And I agree completely, as I child I told my mother I would have a garden of weeds because I aways liked them so much.
