Birthday, scratchboard and ink, 3″ x 5″, 2015
I gave this piece to Cathy for her birthday and that is why it is titled Birthday (so literal of me). I usually only work on one piece at a time. I’m in the middle (well almost the middle) of an 18″ x 24″ scratchboard but I allowed myself to take a break and make this 3″ x 5″ piece—after all, it was for a special occasion.
