This is the fourth piece in my neuron series. The other three pieces are 8″ x 8″ and this one is 18″ x 24″. The medium is scratchboard and ink and it is called Swimming Underwater with the Neurons.
Several of my friends make a “drawing a day.” My work just doesn’t lend itself to that or I don’t lend myself to working in that manner. But I do try to draw every day for twenty minutes—no matter what. Twenty minutes always turns into hours. But that is how I get started or fit it in with my other work.
Lovely piece Nancy. I’m with you I can’t do a drawing a day either, but I do try to draw ever day.

Thank you very much, Tim. I am glad to “meet” another artist who can’t do a drawing a day.

I guess I’m just an underachiever that way. 😏

Or, just work in the slow and precise manner as I do. 😃

That sounds much better. I think I’ll go with your explanation.

Thanks so much, Gwennie! I just read your blog and I am so sorry to read about your broken wrist. Six years ago I broke my knee and it was a horrible experience. I think I can relate to your description of your pain. I wish you a speedy recovery. And thanks again for your wonderful comment. Nancy

oh yes that would be fun but not many can make a living of it, usually you are succesful as an artist after you died !
