New Jersey Turnpike, Christmas Morning (no. 1), scratchboard and ink, 8″ x 8″, 2014

I recently finished this scratchboard with ink, 8″ x 8″. It is based on a photo I took looking out of a car window Christmas morning, while traveling on the New Jersey Turnpike. I started with the photograph and then worked without it. This is the first in a series, I am now working on no. 2.
