Animals and Art

My sister reminded me that when we were children we had two imaginary horses—Silvercane and Sack.  Silvercane was my horse.  My sister named her horse Sack because she thought it was a very fancy name.  We would ride our horses around the park and then get on our bikes and ride home for dinner. This is why I named my painting Silvercane and Sack.

My sister had a human friend who was my dog’s cousin but I don’t recall ever meeting him.

I remember many animals from my childhood, some of them real. I love animals and art.  There were many years where both were missing from my life.
